Charlotte Awake is a Ministry which helps the church reach the next generations through relationally-rich, healthy congregations where disciples make new disciples, leaders train new leaders, and congregations continually plant new congregations.

Section 2: Their Challenge

What issue, challenge, or pain point did the client want
you to address?

Charlotte Awake was started in 2014 with the intent of revitalizing the church through planting 500 small congregations to bring new life and vitality, using the simple structures of the New Testament church to reach 21st century generations. After spending several years trying to develop an effective marketing strategy, Charlotte Awake approached Studio490 to help them take the next step in growth with targeted marketing efforts.

Why did they have this problem?

Creating consistent strategic marketing campaigns can be a difficult task for a non-profit.

This was a problem that they had been dealing with for several years.

They were looking to grow their reach and communicate more effectively with their audience.

Studio490 was referred to Charlotte Awake through an exsisting client that has used Studio490 to grow its marketshare.

How did you approach the challenge?

We performed an extensive audit to examine what Charlotte Awake was currently doing to determine what adjustments needed to
be made.

How was your client involved in this stage?

We met with the Charlotte Awake team to discuss challenges, goals, and help set expectations. 

How long did it take to plan/design/develop your solution? 

We were brought on to the team late-2019 and have been working with them on-going since.

How long did it take to implement?

These changes took place gradually in the first 30 days, but has increased over time to encompass more objectives.

What was the solution?

We implemented a multi-pronged solution that has since taken the organization further.  

– Redesigned the website to funnel traffic to sign-up for the newsletter and take part in their Multiplier Labs.

– Created a dedicated teaching page to help provide a central hub for content to their users.

– Created a consistent social media campaign with educational messages and call to actions.

– Created weekly and monthly newsletters for their subscribers.

Section 4: Results

Did your solution solve the client’s stated problem or accomplish their objective(s)?

Yes! By pairing down the amount of content once developed, we were able to make their communication more concise.

Charlotte awake understood it was not about amount of content but rather the quality of content coupled with a strong marketing plan.
